Luna13 galería presenta la exposición "El mundo de la Ilustración". Esta exposición colectiva muestra las obras de 8 grandes ilustradores contemporáneos. La exposición se podrá ver en el sexto piso de la oficina de Techhub en Moorgate (20 Ropemaker street) desde el miércoles 5 de diciembre.
Los artistas - en su mayoría mujeres - nos dejan entrar en su mundo particular a través de sus ilustraciones. Alba Blázquez, Alejandra Ramos, Ana Soler, Araceli García, Cristina Fernandez, Daniela Ardanaz, Mar Blanco y Pau Sanz i Vila son de muy diversos lugares de la geografía española y allende de nuestras fronteras: Madrid, Vigo, Alicante, Valencia o Buenos Aires.
En esta exposición lapintura tradicional, los pinceles y las brochas se mezclan con las nuevas tecnologías y el diseño gráfico. Acrílico, tinta, collage o acuarela son los medios elegidos por los artistas para introducirnos en un mundo que pretende narrar más allá del texto que las acompaña, más allá de la imagen puramente decorativa. Mención especial merece la obra de Pau por haber conseguido un estilo muy personal basado en el uso predominante y exclusivo de tres únicos colores (rosa, azul y amarillo) y centrado principalmente en el arte pop y el uso de lápices, tintas y acrílicos.
Al igual que nuestras artistas las protagonistas de sus escenas suelen ser mujeres. Unas con miradas intensas y un toque de melancolía, que podrían ser o no habitantes de nuestro tiempo. Otras ligadas a las estaciones, donde la naturaleza se expresa a través de estos rostros femeninos. Otras con un toque macabro y surrealista que nos recuerdan a Hitchcock y Dalí. También veremos obras inspiradas en el diseño e ilustración de los años 70 y otras con un marcado estilo japonés. Seis mujeres imbuidas en su mundo zen nos trasladan a esa lejana y milenaria cultura.
